HUNTER HOTEL ADVISORS ARRANGES SALE OF RESIDENCE INN BOISE DOWNTOWN UNIVERSITY

Hunter Hotel Advisors ("HUNTER") today announced the successful sale of the Residence Inn Boise Downtown University. An institutional seller sold the property to Obie Companies Incorporated for an undisclosed price. HUNTER’s Brian Embree, vice president, facilitated the closing on May 30, 2024.

The 104-key Residence Inn Boise Downtown University is conveniently placed in Idaho’s capital city along I-84, the major interstate connecting Boise with Portland and Salt Lake City. Major corporate demand generators such as Lamb Weston, J.R. Simplot Company and Albertsons, the second largest supermarket chain in North America, are headquartered in the popular city making the market dense in business tourism. Driving leisure demand to the hotel is Downtown Boise, Boise State University and Boise Zoo.

Built in 1986, the Residence Inn Boise Downtown University is fully equipped with an on-site fitness center, business center and outdoor pool. Guests are met with complimentary breakfast along with kitchenettes in each room.

“Real estate is still about location and the Residence Inn tethered both the draw of Downtown Boise and direct proximity to Boise State University,” said Embree. “It was a pleasure to work with both parties on the transaction.”

Crystal Investment Property, LLC, the Idaho Licensed Broker of Record for the Seller, assisted the buyer throughout the transaction.
