Senior Vice President

Sophia Pittaluga currently serves as Senior Vice President for Hunter Hotel Advisors and joined HUNTER’s Miami office in 2021.  Sophia is actively involved in all aspects of investment sales including underwriting, financial analysis, capital markets advisory, client interaction, and transnational services.  Since joining HUNTER in 2021, Sophia has played a key role in the execution of $600MM+ in hotel investment sales transactions across the United States.  

Prior to joining HUNTER, Sophia was Vice President of Acquisitions at Driftwood Capital, a vertically integrated commercial real estate investment, development, and lending platform specializing in hospitality. While at Driftwood, Sophia was responsible for the review and execution of hotel acquisition opportunities throughout the US. 

Prior to joining Driftwood Capital, Sophia spent five years at LNR Partners (an affiliate of Starwood Property Trust), as a Senior Associate in the Real Estate Investing and Servicing Segment, focused on the loan and REO asset management of a diverse portfolio of 250+ hotel loans in addition to underwriting $1B+ in principal balance.

Pittaluga holds a B.S. in Business Management with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate from Babson College and currently serves on the Board for the Babson College Alumni Club of South Florida.
